Thank you ever SO much for being part of my journey to more self awareness. It is truly amazing to me all the insight that you carry and always having that ability to make your class interesting EVERY time. Your energy is divine. Your voice does speak to the individual even in a full class. You are the best! Peace and love toyou and your new studio. Kellie Codianna

Congratulations and best wishes on the opening of your new studio. The people in Colorado who "discover" you will be very fortunate. You once opened a class with a quote from "Meditations from the Mat" about the significance of one's first guru/yoga instructor. You are that to me. You inspired me from the very first class. Now, two and a half years later, I miss you but thank you for helping me begin my journey. Namaste, Sheila

"Every woman should have a mentor- not her mother, but someone who doesn't have a stake in how she turns out; who encourages her to risk; who picks her up when she falls flat on her face." - Joan Anderson, A YEAR BY THE SEA, Thoughts of an Unfinished Woman. kitty is such a person for me. Kitty, thank you for all you have taught me and starting me on my yogic path. Your voice resonates in my head, "Stay on your mat, and breathe." And i greatly miss your singing too. You ARE missed. Good luck at Sadhana West. namaste, renee braunsdorf

"in and out, up and down, over and over, she wove her strands of her life together. Patching hole after hole, eventually she saw it was much more than the threads that gave her strength, it was in the very act of weaving itself, that she became strong..." Thank you for teaching me the process of weaving asana to asana and breathe to breathe. You always said something that seemed to talk to me directly and the practice that followed, allowed me to go inside and find peace and compassion. Best of luck ! Namaste Christina Casavina

I was searching for yoga teacher who was caring, and patience. Not someone who only care about money and their own self ego. A yoga studio without rush pressure and "just to it" attitude from teachers and students. After a year of searching, I found both; a tiny place in Hamden, CT. with a yoga teacher named Kitty. For me, Kitty is a true teacher and person. She shown me what "yoga" real is. I'm overweight and was very intimidate by shoulderstand or headstand. She help me to over come my fear of inversion. Now I am starting to do Sarvangasana in the middle of the room. Time, love and caring. I miss Kitty's claming voice during Savasana and chanting "Lokah samastha sukhino bhavanthu." Namaste Renée

"and so we came to the cliff, and she behind us, and she pushed us, and we flew." (adapt. from J.L. Seagull) Kitty: Thank you for the open doors, for pushing, for not pushing, for all the kindness and sage advice, for strange ayurvedic concoctions, for laughing near me and not at me, and most of all for seeing the soul's true light in your students, and for your patient attendence to it.

Love, Scott

Kitty is the BEST--spirited, calm, playful, kind, intelligent, inspiring and with the voice of an angel. Gentle with beginners and challenging to the more advanced students. Connecticut's loss is Colorado's gain. Blessings on your new venture. Much love, Namaste, Jennifer
